Taylor has been spoiled this week by these three ladies!  Three of the Instructional Coaches from Nebo have been in each grade level for the entire week helping with guided reading, shared reading, literature circles, opinion writing, response writing and so much more!  Mrs. Wride, Mrs. Coates and Mrs. Galt have been a wealth of knowledge helping Taylor teachers perfect their craft in literacy instruction!

Our end of term reward activity was fabulous!  Thank you to all those students who remembered to “Reach for Your Potential, Own Up, Accept Everyone and Remember  Who You Represent” during Term 2!  We had a great day at Stadium Cinemas watching Mary Poppins Returns! #beenheresince1866 #manytigersoneroar #taylortraditions #stadiumcinemas

4th Grade Visits Symphony!

Fourth-grade students at Taylor Elementary in Mrs. Beck, Mrs. Grill, and Mrs. Mayhew’s classes had a great reason to dress in their very best...The Utah Symphony perfomance at Maple Mountain High.  This performance is always an exciting time of year for fourth-graders because they love to see and hear the different instruments the symphony uses in music.  Several of the selections played allowed the students to stand and be involved right along with the music!

Dear Taylor Families,

It was so fun to watch our 1st through 6th grade students attend the movies this past week.  I loved watching the faces of the kids as they realized their seats rocked or reclined back.  They were so well behaved and we had a great time.  Also, thank you so much for coming out to SEPs  last night.  It was a great turn out.   I would especially like to thank our AMAZING PTA for the wonderful meal provided to us.  They do such a great job helping our students and teachers!
