Whereas, the vision, dedication, and determination of a school principal provides the stable force behind schools;
Whereas, principals have many roles in the education of their students and are entrusted with the dedication and development of young people; and,
Whereas, we recognize the outstanding elementary, middle level, and high school principals who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students;
Now, therefore, I, Gary R. Herbert, Governor of the great State of Utah, do hereby declare October 2020, as
School Principal Recognition Month in Utah

4th graders at Taylor have challenged themselves to pass off all of their fast math facts using a program called, Reflex Math. Each time any 25 facts are mastered, they get their name written on a chart in the hallway to celebrate! We love watching these students push themselves to earn milestones, while helping increase their math fluency! We can't wait to see how far they go!
It's Fire Prevention Week! All students got to participate in a coloring contest. One winner was chosen from each grade level. They got a visit from our local real life hereos. Payson Fire Chief, fireman, and EMTs. These students received a gift bag of prizes. Way to go Taylor Tigers!
