Taylor's fourth grade classes have been learning about Native American tribes in Utah.  These student recently had the opportunity to have a special visitor at their school, Eileen Quintana of Title VII Indian Education for Nebo School District.  Eileen brought with her many items that are unique to the Navajo culture. Students were able to see infant cradle boards, jingle dresses, blankets, a bow, dolls, dresses, teepee models , head dresses, articles of clothing and dream catcher baskets. Eileen also brought pictures of hogans and sheep farms from the Navajo resevations. Thank you Eileen for giving our students the chance to learn about the Navajo culture here in Utah.
