Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for a great start to our school year. We thank you so much for all you do for our students and our school. We are so grateful to be a part of your family and children’s lives. We care for your children and appreciate all the happiness and joy they bring into this school each day. We extend an invitation to each parent and family member to come and participate in school events/activities, volunteer in classrooms, and to be part of our PTA. We thank you again for all that you do for students and staff members of Taylor Elementary!
School Community Council Elections
Elections for a parent position on the school community council will be held August 31, 2015 – September 11, 2015. We invite all parents/guardians to consider having their name added to the school community council ballot. If you would like to add your name to the ballot, please contact Billi Robbins by Thursday, August 27, 2015, at 801-465-6050 or through email at billi.robbins@nebo.edu.
Lunch Department
The lunch dept has asked that we remind parents to write your children’s names on checks and envelopes when you send in money for lunch. Also there has been a change in the price of Milk and Juice this year. Milk and Juice are $.50.
Back to School Night
We look forward to seeing everyone on Back to School Night on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 6:30 to 7:30. We will do a general meeting at 6:30 in the gym and we will then have 2 breakout sessions for 15 minutes each so you can meet with teachers and learn about expectations of each class this year.
