Taylor students in 3rd-6th grades have been spending the week refining their art skills. Mr. Tom Wood, Nebo's District Arts Specialist, has been visiting each of the classrooms and teaching remarkable things! Students have been doing a variety of art integration such as the 3rd graders using art peices to write opinion paragraphs and the 5th grade students studying the basics of portrait drawing in order to prepare for their History Fair. Along with the classroom instruction, Mr. Wood has been meeting with grade level teams for half a day designing lesson plans that integrate more art into the classrooms at Taylor. This has been a great chance for both students and teachers to continue the great things that happen at Taylor!
