Taylor students work hard each day in all areas of academics.  One area that students have also work hard in is called "Prevention Dimension".  Each month, Taylor's school counselor, Mrs. Burningham, visits classrooms with lessons designed to help students with citizenship, healthy choices, friendships, stress reduction, drug/alcohol prevention as well as many other things.  Teachers at Taylor also play a critical role in instructing students in positive behavior choices within the classroom.  To celebrate this, fifth and sixth grade classes from Taylor attended a Salt Lake Bees game along with other students from across the state for “Kids Day”.  This was an exciting day for teachers, parents and especially the students to have a chance to celebrate making positive choices in their lives.
