Thank You

Dear Parents,

I have been meaning to send this out for a couple of weeks, but just haven’t found the time.  I just want to say thank you for a great start to the school year.  I appreciate all of the support you have given to me and all of the staff at Taylor School.

We have started a few new programs this year to make our school a better place for kids to be.  We have reorganized how students come in to the building at the beginning of school.  This may seem small, but the majority of our problems were during these transitions.  To date this has eliminated all student problems during this time.  It has also made it easier to supervise every student.

We have also started using a school wide plan for recognizing students for good behavior and giving tickets out to help correct behavior that is unwanted.  To date we have handed out over 200 Tiger Pride certificates and less than 5 tickets.  The kids have loved the phone calls home and I hope you have enjoyed hearing about the good things your children have done.   I believe this program has really helped create a more caring environment in our school.

I love being the principal at Taylor School the last six years and having the opportunity to be with your children.  I care for each one individually and will do whatever I can do in my power to help them in any way I can.  Thank you for all of the support and friendship.

Sincerely,

Frank Daybell
