What's your least favorite subject in school?

Math

Why did you choose this job in education? 

I always played school as a child, I always wanted to be the teacher and made my sister be the student. Once we got older, my little sister had a hard time with school. She didn´t love it, and struggled academically. I wanted to help her and I really found a love for teaching helping my sister. I knew teaching was the career choice for me.

Why did you choose this job in education? 

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have several family members that are teachers, and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of students just like them.

What was something funny that you did or happened to you that not very many people know about?

Dear Parent/Guardian:

 

Like you, we are just learning that Governor Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and the Utah State Board of Education “announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal [soft closure] through Friday, May 1st.”  Their press release further stated that they will “continue to evaluate the situation to make a determination about the remaining school year” and that:
