Taylor's "Pirate Pride" winners for the month of December were no surprise! Mrs. Robbins presented the "Crew of the Month", the "Captains of the Month" and the "Pirates of the Month"! These individuals always go the extra mile, work hard, step up when needed and have a great attitude! Congratulations to these winners!

Taylor Students Serving Others

Submitted by courtney.corbin on
During the month of December, each of the classes came up with a service project to do as a class. One of the projects was Mr. Hanson's class who tied fleece blankets for the Payson Police department. Some other projects included organizing the school library, random acts of kindness, making cards and letters for the veterans home, wiping down the chrome book carts and organizing the take-home library. Students at Taylor really know how to make a difference in the lives of others! Thank you students for working so hard to serve others!

Successful Food Drive

Thank you to all of those who donated to our school food drive! The student council sorted all donated items and are excited to get those to those in need! This food drive would have never been possible without the support of our Taylor family!

3rd Grade Program

Submitted by courtney.corbin on
Today third graders performed their annual Christmas performance of an 'All American Christmas' for both parents and student body. This is always a special treat for the school to watch because these students have worked so hard on learning songs, dances, and musical instruments. This tradition has been a part of Taylor's Christmas celebrations for more than 10 years! Thank you third grade teachers for making this a favorite time of year!

Taylor Traditions Continue

Submitted by courtney.corbin on
Taylor's annual 'Sing Around the Tree' is always a favorite time of year for students. This year was no exception. Students from each class prepared a song, and the fourth graders performed a recorder version of "Carol of the Bells" All of this magic was followed up by the choral singing of some of the school's favorite Christmas songs accompanied by master pianist, DeAnne Thurgood. What a great way to spend the last days of school of 2015! Thank you Mrs. Robbins and Mrs. Mangelson for leading us in another great Taylor tradition!
