Taylor Elementary students have been doing a lot of reading each night.  With all the reading done for Ken Garff Road to Success program, student’s names were placed in a drawing during a school wide assembly.  If their name was drawn out, they had a chance to pick a prize or take the challenge of “Shooting for Bucks”. If a basket was made, Mr. Adams, Taylor’s favorite school counselor, handed over cash! Several students had read so much, their names were pulled multiple times and they ended up with a lot of money and prizes!   This is a favorite assembly for students and it always encourages students to exceed their reading goals each month! Two lucky Taylor tigers even won a Kindle and a bike….just for reading!  Congratulations to Cedar Wilde and Sadie Gentry and remember…it STILL pays to read!!
