Taylor Elementary Students are Unstoppable!

Taylor Elementary School had a pre-"Red Ribbon Week"
kick off with a special visit from the aviation department at Utah Valley University.   Instructors from the university's program brought a plane to the playground of Taylor school for the students to see.  Taylor Tigers were each allowed a chance to sit in the cockpit and experience the controls first hand.  Students were also instructed on the
different parts of the plane as well as fun facts about flying.  As part of Red Ribbon Week, students were
reminded by the pilots that pilots can't fly if they are under the influence of alcohol and drugs.   This year's theme is
"Taylor Tigers are Unstoppable.  We choose to be drug free!".   The aviation department at U.V.U. was a great reminder for student to remember to be drug free for their entire life!   Way to go Taylor Tigers!
