Today, Taylor had a unique fire drill because it was a complete surprise to students and staff! Payson fire department will occasionally hold random “surprise fire drills” in order to ensure that schools are trained to efficiently exit a building in a safe, timely manner.

Mrs. Lowe's class has been learning about their five senses, apples and fall. They used their five senses to explore various types of apples. While they couldn't decide which one was best, they all agreed that apples are tasty!
Taylor Elementary is a Title I school. We have a Student-Parent-Teacher Compact. These compacts where given out last night at parent teacher conferences, or will be coming home soon. This compact outlines how parent, the entire school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership to help children achieve the State's high standards.
