Meet New Fourth-Grade Teacher, Mrs. Beck!

Submitted by courtney.corbin on

My name is Lindsey Beck. I graduated from Utah Valley University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade. I was born and raised in the town of Salem and I currently live in Spanish Fork, Utah. I have been married for two years to a wonderful "cowboy" named Brad Beck. I have a seven-year-old step-daughter named Gracie, and a one-year-old son named Hudson. I am very outgoing, love sports, rodeos, and camping with my family. I'm looking forward to getting to know each and everyone of you Taylor Tigers!

Taylor's 5th grade program

Submitted by courtney.corbin on
Students in fifth grade shared their end-of-year program for parents and the fourth-grade. The program focused on the History of America, the 50 states, as well as a tribute to the armed forces! This is always a fun program for students to share because it gives a small taste of some of the things they have been learning about in class this year.

Taylor's Fifth-Grade Honor Roll Students

Congratulations to Taylor Elementary's fifth grade honor roll students! These elite students needed to complete a list of requirements outside of regular class time that involved service, memorizing the Gettysburg address, passing off fast math facts and having good attendance, just to name a few....what a great example these students are to our Taylor family!

Taylor's Rich History

School favorite, crossing guard George Brinkerhoff, visited several of the classes at Taylor to teach students more about the history of Taylor. Taylor school has been onsite for 150 years! Jesse Soar Taylor's portrait hangs in the entryway of our school as a reminder of our rich history here in Payson!
