5th Grade Arts Integration

Submitted by ryan.kay on Tue, 10/30/2012 - 12:02

Students in Mr. Hansen’s and Mr. Richin’s 5th grade classes have had the unique opportunity to participate in Nebo School Districts Art Integration Program. Holly Mayne has been working with students in the area of dance and creative movement. After students have used their body to ooze, melt and gather items for a potion, they take all of their descriptive words back to their classroom for a writing activity. Be sure and ask a 5th grader about this special activity they have been involved in.

Pumpkins

Thank you to Brad and Chris Olson of Olson’s Garden Shoppe. They donated a pumpkin to each student in Mrs. Oakeson’s and Mrs. Ellsworth’s class. It was a special treat for Halle and Kyler Tischner to have Grandma and Grandpa share their talents of growing veggies with their class.

Thank You!!

I just want to take a second and say thank you to all of you for attending our fall carnival, book fair and SEP conferences, they were all huge successes.  A special thank you to our PTA and faculty who put in countless hours making them successful.
