Fifth and First Grade Math Buddies

Submitted by courtney.corbin on

Fifth grade students are such a help to the first grade classes during Guided Math. While first grade teachers instruct, the fifth grade students help run math centers that reinforce learning. This is a fun opportunity for both grades to look forward to because it gives them a chance to practice math, make new friends, and learn from each other. This partnership is a long time tradition that has been happening at Taylor for more than 15 years! Upper grade students always remember when they were in first grade and the "big kids" helped them.

Hello Parents,

I really appreciate so much all the support we have seen as we are working hard to keep our students safe.  I appreciate everyone moving forward in the student drop off area and not getting out of the cars and parking in this area.  We are continuing to look at how we can ensure the safety of our students.

Today, your 4th, 5th or 6th grade student came home with information about joining the 2017-2018 Tiger Choir! This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the Taylor School legacy.  Choir will meet on Tuesday and Thursday's after school from 3:15-3:45.  More information is located on the golden colored note that came home this week!  We can't wait to hear our school song, among other songs, echoing through the halls of Taylor!
