Taylor Elementary would like to give a giant 'Thank you' to Walmart for donating BOXES of school supplies to the students of Taylor!!! Binders, tape, markers, pens, notepads, book covers, pencil pouches/boxes, crayons and much much more will soon be in the classrooms and hands of Taylor's students!! It is a great day to be a Tiger!!!
6th Grade Orchestra is in full swing! These students arrive at the school 2-3 times a week at 8 am to learn cello, viola and violin from Mrs. Drager. We can't wait to hear them at their concerts this winter and spring!
Fifth grade students are such a help to the first grade classes during Guided Math. While first grade teachers instruct, the fifth grade students help run math centers that reinforce learning. This is a fun opportunity for both grades to look forward to because it gives them a chance to practice math, make new friends, and learn from each other. This partnership is a long time tradition that has been happening at Taylor for more than 15 years! Upper grade students always remember when they were in first grade and the "big kids" helped them.
