Why did you choose this job in education?
I spent so much time at the school as a room mother, PTA President etc. Someone suggested I go to school to become a teacher. So I did.
What was something funny that you did or happened to you that not very many people know about?
At girls camp one year I was demonstrating how to cook jiffy pop popcorn over a fire. It exploded and caught my pant leg on fire. I had a whole herd of girls tackle me while yelling, "Stop, Drop, Roll!" They put the fire out but I couldn't walk the next day because I was so sore from being tackled.
