Play Ball!!!

Submitted by courtney.corbin on
Taylor's 5th and 6th grade classes spent the day in Salt Lake at a Bees baseball game! This yearly tradition is always a welcomed treat to celebrate the completion of testing and the end of the year all while making memories with each other! Students agree that this is one of their favorite memories as a Taylor Tiger!

I had the chance to attend a retirement luncheon today to honor people retiring from Nebo School District. Norma Goddard is retiring after 41 years of teaching. I love this lady with all of my heart and wish her the best. She will be missed at Taylor School!

Jump-Rope Sensations Visit Taylor Elementary

Submitted by courtney.corbin on

Taylor's fabulous PTA sponsored a school wide Jump Rope Assembly! Students from Harvest Hills in Saratoga Springs came to Taylor Elementary and put on a jump roping show like nothing they've seen before! There were backflips, double-dutch, push-ups and more! The PTA even donated MULTIPLE jump ropes to each classroom. The playground is filled with jump ropers each trying to master the latest tricks! Thank you PTA and especially Robyn Houston for putting this together for the students of Taylor!

Karen Leavitt Awarded Crystal Apple

Submitted by courtney.corbin on
Karen Leavitt is one of the most knowledgeable people you will ever work with. She continually works to improve her instruction and teaching. She is dedicated to helping students learn and become successful. Karen looks for different ways to help the one that needs something different. She is hardworking, but likes to be behind the scenes, not looking for added recognition. Karen is always willing to share what she knows and has with anyone who asks. Karen has been a classroom teacher, staff developer, CFA, and intern facilitator. You would be hard pressed to find anyone to replace her.
