Submitted by courtney.corbin on

Fourth graders at Taylor Elementary spend a lot of time increasing their math skills.  One of the essential skills a fourth-grader must have is memorized times table facts.  Students in Mrs. Courtney Corbin and Miss Brittany Wayman's classes have worked since the first of the year to ensure they're experts at multiplying numbers quickly.  In celebration, the two classes were rewarded with ice cream and a variety of toppings  to make the deal extra sweet!   Way to go fourth-grade for working so hard in math each day!

Taylor Elementary is full of fantastic spellers!  Recently, the annual third-grade spelling bee was held in the gym of Taylor Elementary.  This year's competition was tough because the students in Mrs. Whitney Buys and Mrs. Melanie Ellsworth's classes have been practicing for quite some time memorizing words in order to become the new spelling bee champion! Parents along with the second and third-grade classes were invited to come watch the top spellers from each class participate. It was an extremely fun day for all participants.
