Let the fun begin! Our Penny Wars will begin the MONDAY we come back from Thanksgiving Break.
Why: Taylor Elementary will be participating in their annual Penny War to help raise money for needy families in our area. This money will be used to purchase food and clothing.
When: November 28th to December 1st
How does it work: Each Grade Level will be competing against all the other grades. For every penny your grade level has in the jar, a point will be given. For every other silver coin or dollar bill that is placed in your jar by another grade, the face value of the coin or bill will be subtracted from the total points. The Grade that has the most total points from the War will receive a PIZZA/MOVIE PARTY!

Por qué: Taylor Elementary participará en su Penny War anual para ayudar a recaudar dinero para familias necesitadas en nuestra área. Este dinero se utilizará para comprar comida y ropa.
Cuándo: del 28 de noviembre al 1 de diciembre
Cómo funciona: cada nivel de grado competirá contra todos los demás grados. Por cada centavo que su nivel de grado tenga en el frasco, se le otorgará un punto. Por cada otra moneda de plata o billete de dólar que otro grado coloque en su frasco, el valor nominal de la moneda o billete se restará del total de puntos. ¡El Grado que tenga la mayor cantidad de puntos totales de la Guerra recibirá una FIESTA DE PIZZA/PELÍCULA!
