4th Grade Pioneer Day!

Fourth grade Pioneer Day! Students churned butter, made rope, chiseled sandstone, carded wool and so much more! These students got a real taste for what life was like in the 1800's here in Utah!

Hello Taylor families,

A million thank  yous to our PTA for spoiling us this week.  We greatly appreciate all the yummy food and VIP treatment!  We have the best PTA around!!!

Kindergarten PRE-Registration:  If you were not able to make it to our Pre-Registration, please come and get pre-registered for Kindergarten.   This will help us know our numbers for next year.  Please help spread the word if you know of families with a child coming to Kindergarten next year!

Wendy does not make her students fit her mold, she makes her mold fit her students individually. She is reflective and always adapting and improving her practice based on reflections and new learning. Wendy focuses on the needs of her students and works tirelessly to find solutions to their learning challenges. Wendy is a master teacher.”

Mrs. Sumens Awarded Crystal Apple!

Congratulations to our amazing kindergarten teacher,  Mrs. Mindy Sumens!  Mindy was nominated by Taylor teachers as someone who represents the education profession in a positive aspect and has a true love and commitment to the students.  Mindy has taught K-2, 5th and Reading Recovery.  She is currently a teacher mentor at Taylor, student council advisor, and team leader.  She is an expert in early education, technology, PLC’s, and is a huge advocate for the education world.  She and her husband Russ, and their three children, live in Santaquin.
