My name is Nick Baird. I was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. My house was two blocks from the state capitol and my paper route was delivering papers to the governor and senators, which I met on various occasions. I am the youngest of five boys, no sisters. Some things that I enjoy include being outdoors. I enjoy hiking with my family, going mountain biking, and visiting national parks. This past year we have gone to Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite National Park, Zion National Park, Monterey Aquarium, and Disneyland. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I really enjoyed the book by John Steinbeck, Travels with Charley as well as Driving Mr. Albert. I also enjoy trying new foods. My favorite food is Thai food; I really like the curries. I also recently have started liking Vietnamese food, especially pho and banh mi sandwiches. If you ever go to Salt Lake, try Oh Mai. I have an Ed.S degree in school psychology from Utah State University. I enjoy helping kids reach their full potential. I have been a school psychologist for Nebo School District for 9 years.
