Fourth Graders got to go on a fun field trip to the State Capitol. In fourth grade you study and learn all about Utah. Going to the State Capitol helps students actually see how things work. They learned lots about what takes place in the State Capitol, who works there, the history about it, and all of the hard work people put in there.
They even got the chance to meet, listen to, and talk to Senator Henderson. Deidre M. Henderson is a politician elected to her first political position as a Republican member of the Utah State Senate. This was such a neat experience for the students.
