Hello Taylor Elementary parents and guardians,
Taylor Elementary's School Community Council is looking for 3 parents who would be willing to be on our council this year. School Community Council meets once a month for about an hour. Members include: parents/guardians, teachers, staff and principal.
A School Community Council is created for the purpose of involving parents or guardians of students in decision making at the school level; improving the education of students; prudently expending School LAND Trust Program money for the improvement of students' education through collaboration among parents and guardians, school employees, and the Board of Education.
If you would like to volunteer or know someone you would like to nominate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Nominations start Monday, August 24 and will end Monday, August 31. We will contact all individuals about their nominations and proceed with elections.
