Students recently had an assembly in regards to crossing safely to and from Taylor School.  With the help of Officer Bill Wright, students were reminded by Mrs. Robbins where the safe places to cross are, and how to be safe while crossing.

A few reminders to help keep our valued students safe....

*Students will need to cross all three roads surrounding Taylor school with the crosswalks located either on Utah Ave and 500 E. (with crossing guard George), or with the assigned teacher at the corner of 500 W. and 100 S. (just out of our front doors).

*Please do not wave your student across the street on any of these three roads.  Remind them to safely use a crossing guard to cross the road, and then walk safely down the sidewalk to your car.

*Students should not enter the crosswalk until the crossing guard has motioned that it is safe for them to cross.

*Students will now wait to be crossed by a teacher through the parent drop-off zone to avoid students darting through cars.

*Students need to walk their bikes/scooters once on school property

*A safe walking route has been designated by Officer Wright as 400 W.

Thank you for all of your help in keeping our students safe while in our care!  We appreciate and value your help in keeping Taylor safe!
