Taylor Elementary’s PTA has made it possible for Taylor Elementary to be one of the most technologically equipped schools in Nebo School District.  Along with iPads, document cameras, projectors, Kindles and updated computers, Taylor’s classrooms are all furnished with new Promethean Boards for teacher and student use.  Taylor Elementary’s PTA raised funds through candy bar sales, the Fall Carnival, collecting box tops, Fun Food Friday and other various fund raising events in order to make these Promethean Boards possible.

First-grade teacher, Mrs. Penny Oakeson, says, “I can’t believe how more interactive my lessons have become by adding the Promethean Board to my classroom.  My kids are able to be actively involved in their learning in a way they’ve never been able to before.”   Sixth-grade teacher, Rachel Santiago says, “The way I teach math has completely changed.  There are so many tools and available resources that come with this program. I can’t wait to see how it is used throughout the grade levels.”

Taylor Elementary’s teachers are very grateful for the generosity from the PTA to continue to make Taylor a great place to educate children.
