4th Grade Keyboarding Awards!
Taylor's Fourth grade students recently finished an intense 50-day keyboarding program at school. Keyboarding master, Mr. Bartholomew, held an awards assembly for the fourth-grade classes to celebrate their accomplishments! Students have been working hard, practicing at home and have improved their keyboarding skills greatly! Those who passed off their skills each week were rewarded with candy as well as cash prizes! Congratulations students for all of your hard work this year!
Talent Day in Music Class
Every few months, students in Mrs. Mangelson's music classes are invited to share their talents with each other! This is a fun opportunity for student to share what they're interested in and cheer each other on as they dance, sing, play the violin, recorder, drums, piano and so much more!
Fourth Grade Visits Camp Floyd
Taylor fourth grade students in Mrs. Beck, Mrs. Grill and Mrs. Muhlestein's classes recently visited historic Camp Floyd. Students took a step back in time and were able to experience life in the famous Utah military camp. Students spent the day making adobe bricks, dipping candles, attending pioneer school, riding in the pony express as well as going through artillery training. This is a fun way for students to see a piece of Utah history come alive!
Pioneer Day at Taylor
Fourth grade Pioneer Day! We're churning butter, making rope, chiseling sandstone, carding wool and so much more! These students are getting a real taste for what life was like in the 1800's here in Utah!

****5th Grade Track Meet Update*****
Tomorrow's 5th grade track meet has been rescheduled for Tuesday May 3rd due to the predicted rainstorm. If students ordered a school sack lunch, they will still be eating their sack lunch for their school lunch tomorrow. If they signed up for a home lunch, please have them bring their home lunch to eat at school. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation with our amazing lunch staff! If you have any questions, please call the school or contact your child's teacher!
Library Notice!
Parents,
The last week of library is the week of May 9th. A note will be sent home with your student to remind them if they have any outstanding books that need to be returned. Please make sure to get them back to Mrs. Hulet so the library inventory can be completed. If you have questions about missing or lost books, please contact the school.
